Product intro

Kunstmaan Agency has created a number of Symfony2 Framework Bundles to enable developers to create web applications with CMS features. It's not a complete product in itself, but offers flexibility for skilled developers to create easy to use site experiences for content creators.

Concrete 5 is a long running content management system. It is known for it's user friendly interface and with it's recent iterations has moved to adopt Symfony components.

Main advantages
  • Flexible, choose only what you need and adjust to your needs

  • Can be integrated into existing Symfony2 applications
  • Ease of use
  • Extensions marketplace
  • Reasonably sized community
Main disvantages

  • A bit hard to purchase, because it's a collection of components rather than a complete product
  • Future roadmap a questionmark
  • Product versioning can be confusing
  • Not many examples for complex implementations
  • Multilingual architecture not top notch
