Product intro

Kunstmaan Agency has created a number of Symfony2 Framework Bundles to enable developers to create web applications with CMS features. It's not a complete product in itself, but offers flexibility for skilled developers to create easy to use site experiences for content creators.

Cosmic.js is a CaaS based on GraphQL. It follows on the footsteps of both Contentful and GraphCMS.

Main advantages
  • Flexible, choose only what you need and adjust to your needs
  • Uses standard Symfony Framework structure and development practises
  • Can be integrated into existing Symfony2 applications
  • Excellent usability for editors
  • Developer ergonomics
  • Clear pricing model (no free tier, though)
Main disvantages
  • Limited adoption outside of Kunstmaan
  • A bit hard to purchase, because it's a collection of components rather than a complete product
  • Future roadmap a questionmark
  • Limited content modeling capability
  • Lack of customisation options
  • Vendor lock in
