Product intro

Kunstmaan Agency has created a number of Symfony2 Framework Bundles to enable developers to create web applications with CMS features. It's not a complete product in itself, but offers flexibility for skilled developers to create easy to use site experiences for content creators.

Spress is a static site generator built with Symfony Components. The tool is versatile and uses familiar technologies such as Twig, Markdown and the Symfony console.

Main advantages

  • Can be integrated into existing Symfony2 applications
  • Low learning curve
  • High performance
  • Unparalled security with static HTML
Main disvantages

  • A bit hard to purchase, because it's a collection of components rather than a complete product
  • Future roadmap a questionmark
  • Limitations when working with dynamic data
  • Limited userbase
