Victoire CMS is an Open Source CMS built as a Symfony Framework Bundle. In development since 2015 the tool makes use of Doctrine ORM for storage and a lot of other standard components from the Symfony ecosystem.

Bolt CMS is a lightweight CMS built with the Silex Microframework. It is well built and a great alternative for developers looking for a modern PHP system to replace WordPress, for example.

  • Clean architecture built with Silex, very easy to learn

  • Not proven for enterprise grade projects where Symfony Framework shines
  • Developer availability compared to WP
  • Extensibility for multilingual, etc. depends on extensions
